  1. These are application you might want to have to use this CD comfortable.
  2.  
  3. An absolutely 'must have' application is Opener, which --- once installed 
  4. in ~LocalApps or ~/Apps --- will automatically decrunch and untar all files 
  5. on these CD disks (and many more) to the /tmp directory. Very, very handy!
  6.  
  7. OmniWeb might be useful to view some HTML stuff on the disks, especially 
  8. the HTML version of the NeXT-FAQ located at 
  9. /Peanuts-2/Documents/faq/NeXTFAQ-html.

  11. Only version 1.0 is included here, because version 1.0 is less memory 
  12. hungry than the latest versions. Of course the latest version is included 
  13. on this set at Networking/www/OmniWeb*.

  15. The_NoSD_Submitter finally is used to send us new software descriptions not 
  16. located in our database already. PLEASE USE IT!
  17.  
  18. gnutar and gnuzip are included for those who didn't already upgrade to
  19. a version of NEXTSTEP/OPENSTEP which already includes these tools. Use them
  20. to manually decrunch and untar all files on these disks.
